Edinburgh: Evening Ghosts & Ghouls Guided Tour + Drink
Overview
Your evening begins with a walk through the narrow streets of Edinburgh’s Old Town, followed by a visit to the Blair Street Underground Vaults. After the tour, you’ll head to a candlelit cellar for a drink and more storytelling.
Meet at the Mercat Cross and explore the places where crowds once gathered, and where some of Edinburgh’s darkest events took place. Along the way, you’ll hear true stories of witch trials, public punishments, and people who were never quite at peace.
In the vaults, you’ll be guided through the underground spaces while your storyteller shares accounts of real events — many of them unsettling, and all part of the city’s past.
To end the night, gather in Megget’s Cellar. Enjoy a dram of Ballantine’s finest Scotch whisky, or if you prefer, a Skeleton Blues hazy IPA beer or Scottish-made soft drink, while listening to more stories from Edinburgh’s history.
